Technical co-founder as a service, minus the equity.

Whisia is a technical co-founder as a service company for non-technical founders. We make the technical decisions, build the product and keep it running, the way a technical co-founder would, for a monthly or fixed fee and never for equity. MVP Launch is $12–20K once, and Full Partnership starts at $7K a month.

What you get, and what you do not

A technical co-founder does five jobs. We cover four of them for a fee:

Why founders pay fees instead of equity

Equity is permanent, and you hand it over before anyone knows whether the partnership works. Fees stop when you stop. You keep your cap table, and you own all the code, accounts and IP from day one.

The full comparison, including what a co-founder's stake typically costs, is in a technical co-founder without equity: the real options.

When you should give equity instead

If the technology is the company (a new database, a research-heavy AI product, a hardware platform), you want someone who will spend a decade on it, and equity is the honest way to get that commitment. The same goes if the investors you are courting want a technical co-founder on the cap table. We never take equity, so in those cases we are not your answer.

How to start

  1. A free 20-minute call. You speak to a founder, not a salesperson.
  2. A written scope and price within 48 hours. What we would build, in what order, and what it costs. No obligation.
  3. Work starts the week after you say yes. By the end of week two you have something working in your hands.

Questions

Is this a real co-founder?

No. We do not join your cap table or your company. You get the technical decisions, the build and the running of it. What you do not get is someone whose own stake depends on the company.

Do I need to be technical to work with you?

No. Decisions are explained in plain language and written down, so you can read why each choice was made and hand them to anyone later.

What if I want a technical co-founder later?

Nothing here prevents it. The code and accounts are in your name and the decisions are written down, so someone joining later inherits a system they can read.

Can you help me raise money?

We can give you a system that stands up to technical questions. We cannot give you a CTO title for your pitch, because we never take equity.

Tell us the idea and where it stands. In 48 hours you will have the scope and the price in writing.
