About Whisia.
Whisia is a fully remote software engineering company that startups and established businesses hire instead of a CTO. We make the technical decisions, build the software and keep it running. We are paid in fees and never in equity, and every client owns its code, accounts and IP from day one.

What we do
We work with companies that need senior technical judgement but do not yet need a full-time executive. That can mean being the whole of engineering, leading the developers a company already has, building one application at a fixed price, launching an MVP, building AI agents or lowering a cloud bill. All services and prices are on one page.
Our background
Our background is one of the biggest trading platforms in fintech, where an outage is a regulatory event rather than an apology. We bring those habits to every client: release pipelines, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure held to that standard.
What we believe
- The people who decide should build. A decision made by someone who never has to live with it is usually a poor one.
- Your company stays yours. We take no equity. Your cap table is none of our business.
- You should be free to leave. Everything runs in your accounts, and you can stop at the end of any month with a written handover.
- Decisions belong in writing. You should be able to read why each choice was made.
- Publish the price. You should know the range before you call.
What we will not do
- Take equity, or provide a CTO title for a fundraise.
- Subcontract the work, or hand it to someone junior.
- Keep you on when you need a full-time CTO. We will say so, and help you hire that person.
Who you will work with
There are no salespeople and no account managers. The first call is with a founder, and the people on that call are the people who write the code.
